Your diet affects the overall health and shape of our body. Some foods
can really cause unpleasant health problems and significantly affect the
appearance of the skin.
One of the worst ingredients for the skin is salt.
Too much salt in the diet will cause one thing – your body will retain
water, which will then not be available for the skin cells. Your body
will look swollen, and the whole face will have this swollen look also.
The skin around your eyes is very thin and delicate, which makes it very
vulnerable to all bad influences in your diet and also to the poor
treatment. Because of that you can suffer of the unwanted dark circles
under eyes.
You will not really have a beautiful skin if you eat too much seafood
like mussels, shrimp or others similar. If you have acne problems, avoid seafood!
This is because of the high content of iodine, which is of course
necessary for the human body, but in larger quantities will cause acne.
White bread is not one of the ideal beauty makers
either. If you eat a croissant, bagel, or any other kind of white bread
sugar levels in the blood will rise and release energy available for
your body at that very moment. Your body has then a lot of these sugars,
which prevent the formation of collagen in the skin, and this will
appear on your skin in the form of ugly looking patches.
Simple white sugar is not good for your health at
all! “Quick” sugars in sweet bars, sweets or cakes can cause overweight
and deterioration of the skin. However, if you cannot eliminate sweets
from your diet, replace them at least with something better than simple
sugars. Better choose honey, dried fruits or chocolate with a high cocoa
content.
If you want to have a beautiful skin, avoid French fries and fried
meals. These foods have a high content of saturated fat, starch and
salt, and none of these are beneficial for you. So if you are hanging
out often at fast food places and stuff yourself with French fries,
forget about beautiful skin.
Alcohol is literally the killer of beautiful skin.
The consumption of alcoholic beverages is supporting dehydration. It
dries up your skin and makes it much more sensitive. Over time your face
will become wrinkly and will get a gray shade.
Do not forget to hydrate yourself with pure water after going out for a party.
